A leveraged buyout is when you go into debt to buy a controlling share in a company with the idea that that company's profits will get you out of debt. Syndicating would probably be to sell shares. A fiscal year is a yearly period at the end of which a company reviews its financial situation. So it would pretty much be "Coming up with new ways to sell shares in a new company to get rid of the debt from buying that company before we find out our profits for 2007."I think. I'm no expert. :P

It all depends, you can be an IT guy with certifications an well do IT. Yet management of IT is different specially when dealing in a corporation, my cousin got a B.B.A in MIS and the doors opened.. of course he does have certifications.

From what i know, through people that I know that are in the IT field. They say that in the past the degree was preferred in the field but in todays world the degree is still a plus but the certifications are a better way to go because it's more up to date and employers feel that if you have the certs you are more knowledgable about the material that is needed in the field.

I spend all day correcting medications that they are trying to call in from MD. Some times they have no idea what the drug they are calling in is... The call starts like this.. "I don't know what this is let me spell it for you..." They are an integral part of our health care system but what you need to understand is the amount of medications

A pharmacy technician would not even know what an ANC is or what equation to use for renal adjustments or what medications would require one for that matter. Yes a MA could administer a vaccination but what I do (Broly278-sons SN) is screen patients to make sure they meet CDC guidelines and counsel them on what other vaccinations they should receive write the order then administer. An MA is told by the doctor hey give this shot.

Salesman is of course a stretch...pharmacists do know more about drugs than salesmen. what you said about vaccination is not impressive...a 6 month trained medical assistant can do that ..no problem. Everything else you listed is something a pharmacy tech can do as you well know. Tell me what skills distinguishes you from the rest? if it was not for the boom in pharmaceuticals in the past 10 years..believe me you would not make nearly as much as you do now. not hating on you..just stating facts.

I am the pharmacy manager of a Walgreens in Southern California. This past week I have administered about 100 vaccinations for H1N1, Shingles and Hep B, calculated ANC counts for clozapine patients, Creatinine clearances for renal dosage adjustments and compounded capsules of hormone replacement therapy. $150,000+ a year. I am not a salesman.

bottom line is pharmacists today are not what they use to be in the past which is a good chemist that knows how to make a drug and administer it for a full medicinal effect. what they do today is something a pharmacy tech can be qualified to do. it is just the explosion of drug manufacturing by pharmaceutical companies in the last decade that fueled the need for "pharmacists" to make them more of a salesmen than medical providers. even an RN knows more about Healthcare than a pharmacist does.

Pharmacists also have the right to prescribe continuing prescriptions in certain states/provinces, be certified in training diabetics or other diseases, give needles and flu shots. Pharmacists also need to know certain aspects of diagnosis (i.e. when is it appropriate to give over the counter medications or when does the patient need to go see a doctor for an issue like a rash or eye infection). You need appropriate schooling for all that, thats WHY it takes many years, and you get paid well.

That is a misguided opinion. Its not a matter counter pills or insurance info, that stuff will be automated in the next 5-10 years. There are hundreds of potential drug interactions that pharmacists need to know, understand correct dosages and dosage forms, over the counter advice (for the thousands of drugs available) and other health information that people randomly ask. Doctors make a shitload of mistakes, and when you have 300-400 rx to go through a day, you need to know your stuff.

First, i was exaggerating about the info you find online. of course some of it is crap, and of course a pharmacist can be well informed. But as far as diagnosing a patient.....That is not included in their scoop of practice even in a hospital setting. I am sure pharmacists work hard for the money they get paid.. ...i just do not think the job requires 8 years of college!!! like medecine or a phD in science .....just a personal opinion.

certain programs usually are 5 year programs. Some programs in California have 4 year program. My buddy just transferred to the University of California - Davis which is a prominent school for landscape architecture. Landscape architects starting out usually make around 40,000 - 45,000 which will vary on what state you are in and what firm hires you along with what skills and trademarks you have to offer. You have to work at a firm for 2 years before taking your L.A.R.E. exam to be certified

What a wonderful spokesperson for an industry! Eddie George's softspoken style and grace is surprising coming from a professional football player. It commanded my attention, yet his leap to landscape architect seems so natural. Occupational therapy works towards a funtional goal e.g. getting back into the work place or specific leisure pursuits for people with Physical, mental or intellectual difficulties. Physiotherapy just look at physical disabilities, and is less funtional in nature...they look more at range of motion and so on. Also, OT focuse on upper limb function while Physio is primiarily lower limb. i.e. for splinting. Hope that helps.

I think you should not only get your CPA but get your CMA because CMA has come a long way and they are the Accountants who make decisions and help run large corporations. A CMA can do just about anything a CPA can do its just not as well known. They get paid big bucks and you can go into any industry as a CMA. Entertainment, Banking, retail, etc. These guys on the video are more like CMA's than the typical CPA to tell you the truth. Google it if you need more info or hit me back. Im going 4 CMA

And anyway if I didn't care I wouldn't be the one up with my cat all night to see if he goes to bathroom or not, and I wouldn't be force feeding him so he didn't get dehydrated.. I spend a lot of time with him.. and even more then usual these weeks.. I spent a total of $700 for his medical bills, and the problem is I'm not rich, my family gets by on credit cards.. Seriously fuck Vets, I just payed $355 for nothing, the vet still says she's not 100% sure whats wrong =/.. an xray costs $189 yet takes 10min =/ I don't know how these people sleep at night.. I don't have a problem shelling out cash for my cat but if there are results.. I seriously think I deserve my money back.. You should only be required to pay if it fixes your cat.. I have to go tomorrow for blood work, I really hope he gets better.

Get good GCSEs in Biology and Chemistry and passes in as many as possible, A levels in Chemistry and Biology but you can do courses even if you don't have these but that will take longer. And finally get some experiance in at a vets, this is very important even if its just a week or one full day, they will want you to have experiance and then do a vetenariy degree.Easy

Just to clear it up.. GCSEs are General Certificate of Secondary Education, which you take when you're 15/16 years old. GCEs are A-levels, taken when you're 17/18 and usually consist of three subjects. A-levels are ulitmately what determine whether you get a place at vet school. (Alongside work experience and personal character) In the UK, vets get paid absolutely nothing compared to human doctors. Its still an extremely rewarding career though, and i'm hopefully going to vet school next year!

I decided I want to become a vet however I don't have the necessary subjects to get in as I was following a different career path. This means I have none of the 3 sciences apart from a grade 4 in Biology at GCSE level. I was thinking of getting Chemistry and Biology (A levels) and Physics (intermediate) in the next two years but Im not sure if that would be enough for the course. Any suggestions?
